During World War 2, women were called up to aid the war effort while the men were fighting on the front lines, contributing as mechanics, engineers and munitions workers. This jigsaw puzzle features a group of skilled women machining parts in a wartime factory.

Imagery from the war, led by “Rosie The Riveter” on J Howard Miller’s iconic “We Can Do It!” Poster, was pivotal to the Feminist movement, as such we have released this jigsaw in celebration of International Women’s Day on 8^th March.
